The Heritage Veg-Tan Leather & Patina

Vegetable tanning is an organic, time-honored process representing less than 10% of all leather produced today. Crafted from heavy-weight U.S. cowhides, this leather is cured slowly in traditional Mexican tanneries using natural plant extracts and tree bark in organic vats—no harsh synthetic chemicals required.

Because it is finished with natural oils, it absorbs the environment around it. Daily use, skin oils, and sunlight will naturally darken and burnish the leather, transforming the golden-tan tone into a rich, glass-like caramel finish over time.

Leather Care Guide

• Embrace the Patina: Natural scuffs and darkening are a normal, beautiful part of full-grain leather.

• Keep it Dry: If exposed to water, gently blot with a soft cloth and let air-dry naturally away from direct heat.
