Every wallet is individually handcrafted using premium full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, hand-stitched with ultra-durable braided Tiger Thread using the time-honored saddle stitch method, and finished with hand-sanded, Tokonole burnished smooth edges. The Heritage Veg-Tan Leather & Patina

Vegetable tanning is an organic, time-honored process representing less than 10% of all leather produced today. Crafted from heavy-weight U.S. cowhides, this leather is cured slowly in traditional Mexican tanneries using natural plant extracts and tree bark in organic vats, no harsh synthetic chemicals required.

Because it is finished with natural oils, it absorbs the environment around it. Daily use, skin oils, and sunlight will naturally darken and burnish the leather, transforming the vibrant orange and black tones into a rich, deep finish over time.
